Wow!
I have a job. A job that is ridiculously brilliant, life-affirming, challenging, financially lucrative (hopefully!) and, best of all, is for charity! Yay! *cheers and dances around the room* And I get to travel! It's for Dialogue Direct, a fundraising company that travels across the UK, spending each of five weeks in a different part of the country; we cook our own meals but transport and accommodation are provided, and (if my interview was anything to go by) the people I'll be working with should be fantastic. They all reminded me of Adele, actually. :P With bits of Sarah, Sibby, Eugene, Rosa, Mr Enright and Mr Wallace... Lots and lots of wonderful people. ^^ Yay! I'm in shock.
Tonight I'll post some pictures of today's wildly exciting journey to Marks & Spencer, but for now, there's pepperoni pizza in the oven. :)
Added:
Gorgeous old Abby, close to comatose in the heat - we got up to 26 degrees.
Uncle Gordon with his snazzy new haircut, relaxing in the garden.
Aunty Stella and Gill! My apologies for the angle - I was trying to be circumspect.
And, oh joy, Tesco. ^^
