Right Here and Now: Surrey (Day 90)

I miss you all so much!!! Can't wait to see everyone again.
Family = love. :)

Ahh...

Ok. Not so good news today: even with all my frenetic planning and multiple checks of routes, costs and other such horribly practical things, there's still a snag. The Citylink bus people have informed me that the 3-day Explorer Pass I've purchased won't be ready for another week, and I need to get to Skye on Sunday. *groan* Nowhere on the website did it say it would take a week! Nowhere!

So, I'll lose the £35 for that pass, have to buy another ticket to Skye (£35) and to Eilean Donan (£3.50), and won't be able to go to the Isle of Harris or Urquhart. Argh!

*wry grin*

Wait. It's just hit me that I'm complaining because I won't be able to see some of the amazing sights I'd planned - but maybe, now I'm not visiting Urquhart, I could take the (now cheaper) bus to Culloden and spend some time there instead. And besides, there's still two and a half days in Edinburgh and Stirling, Durham Cathedral, that train ride through the Highlands and Skye. Not too bad. :P

Okay. Super-wonderful nostalgic songs on last.fm, time and coffee have led to me being me again. Yay!

See you on the 27th!
